Understanding Mental Health
Did you know that 1 in 4 people in the UK is likely to experience mental health problems each year? Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet whilst we know how to take care of our own physical health, many people do not know how to support friends, relatives or even colleagues who are experiencing poor mental health.
This is a half-day awareness course designed to give learners an insight into mental health.

Face to Face
Course Timings - 9.30am to 1.30pm
This course aims to enable delegates to become more aware of who may be suffering from poor mental health, to understand stigma to be able to assist and share basic information with those in need.
Throughout this 1/2 day course, Learners will develop a greater understanding of the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing in the workplace and the role that everyone plays in recognizing and handling mental health issues at work. Attendees will be able to understand mental health and its importance and help promote positive mental health in the workplace.
Topics covered include:
The candidate must be 16 years or more of age.
The candidate must have good English language skills (both written and spoken). It is essential that the candidates show good command of English and can communicate clearly.
Classroom course in accordance with current Covid19 regulations.
